Call Me Your Valentine, Call Me Once Tonight.

This is a post to wish all of you Happy New Year. It's going to be 2009 in less than 24 hours and i don't have any plans yet for the midnight celebration. But i will have fun tonight.

Anyway, 2008 has been a very prosperous year. I've achieved a lot in such a short time and I'm glad that it's going to end with blast just like the way I've started it. I hope that 2009 is going to be as merry as 2008, though I dont have 2009's resolutions yet. But, i guess things will just flow like always.

A mllion thanks to those who have made this year a wonderful one. You'll be in my personal Hall Of Fame. It has been a mouth-watering adventure and I'm amazingly proud to have friends like you

If You're Still Here.

I want to remember my Prom as the best night of my life..

Yes, prom was very much fun for me and the others and I'm sure it'll be a very fond memory to the Form 5's. I never thought it would come but i guess, time flew really fast (at least that's how i feel). Prom was held at J.W.W. Marriot, a very grand and high class place for such an event, on the 14th of December. I had no date by the way.

Well anyway, i booked a hotel room (2135) there so we checked in to the hotel pretty early, around 2 p.m. with Izuan. We planned to get ready in the hotel. Izuan and I went for a quick lunch at Pavilion and then back again to the hotel to wait for the others to come as well. By 6 p.m., all of us were getting ready to look our best for prom. All of us were in our suits and pants, with ties and formal black shoes. I mean, you should have seen us, we looked absolutely well dressed and sophisticated.

By 7.30 p.m, we went down and saw a lot of familiar faces. Haha, It's been a while since I've seen my schoolmates and it sure brought a lot of memories. One thing i have to say, most of the girls looked dazzling and pretty with their dresses and high heels that night.

The rest of the night was a bit dull but i had tonnes of fun when EVOL performed and we started dancing. The award for the Prom King went to some guy from St. John and Prom Queen, well it was our very own Amanda. By 12.30, we left the ballroom and hung out at Lecka Lecka for a while and then, headed straight to the hotel room. We were awfully exhausted by that time and we just wanted to hit the sack.

I didn't sleep the whole night actually. Bryant and the boys were making a lot of noise -.-

Anyway, here are some pictures,

Cupid Missed His Mark.

It's 2 days before our major grand prom and I'm a bit excited about it now that it's drawing near. Anyway, Mimi and Aishah and Aimi forced me to make up for my mistake by accompanying them for a complete session of makeover. Don't worry, i wasn't involved in any part of the beautifying process although the girls were tempted to peel off all the hair on my legs. I have sexy legs Girls! Haha, that's what i told them.

Oh by the way, have i told you that now i look like Obama. I mean, this time around, I'm not kidding. I really look like Obama! I cut my hair short and shave every epidermal hair on my face. And the best thing is, I'm wearing suit and pants so most probably you will see America's Favourite President this Sunday on prom, call me Obama Jr.

Back to our beauty therapy, which was at Lavina's by the way. A place near Ampang Point. Met up with Mimi and Aishah when i entered. Aishah was having her nails manicured while Mimi was waxing. Hey, don't look at me, I don't know what sort of things girls do to make themselves pretty. I waited, and waited, and waited even more. Haih, penat kaki oh!

In the process, Nadira and Zaahira came into the centre because they wanted to do some manicures and threading. The original plan was to only pay for Mimi's treatment but then.. Haih, let's just say Girls Will Be Girls as they persuaded me to pay for them as well. Nonetheless, it was fun to spend some time with the girls because it's been a while since the last time i met them.

Later, we met up with Aimi and Faris at Ampang Point, set to go to Flamingo for a round of bowling which turned out to be hilarious. Nothing much happened afterwards, a bit of chatting, a whole lot of laughters and we were done for the days.

What Happens If I Can't Check My Myspace.

Terribly sorry for the late update on what's been going on. Lazy la nak update blog. Well, 1st thing 1st, SPM is finally over for me and that means no more running along the corridors, skipping classes to play football or even socializing with friends (at least, not like it used to be). Yes, I'm making this such an emotional phase because i have the right to do so :)

Anyway, been busy keeping up with my plans after SPM and god knows how tired i can get these days not to mention the vigorous futsal and football matches my friends organize. Let me tell you one thing, Bryant made sense in his post about leaving school. It's not that pleasant to have finally realized school is officially done for us the form 5's. Ask any of the Form 5's, I'm sure they agree on this as much as i do. In a nutshell, i can say, it sucks leaving school. Call me a school freak but these days, i would do anything to still have a taste of high school.

Regarding SPM, it was ok. There were some hard subjects that none of us could do and there were some which we can do. Nonetheless, i did my best, strut my stuff and be done with it. Most of the Pengawas were kind enough, maybe because we didn't cause and major disruption while they were on duty.

The celebration after SPM wasn't that extravaganze as i thought it would be, but then again maybe it's just me. One thing that bothers me though, Amirah said, "Awi, most probably 90 percent of the people you see today on this corridor, well you're not gonna see them for the rest of your life anymore". Come to think of it, she's right. She made it clear that things would be totally different the moment i set foot outside of this school and true enough, I'm starting to feel the pinch.

To those people who have made it this far with me, please please, find time to reconnect with our community, our Friends. No matter how busy you are, you are still a part of our clan so do not and i mean DO NOT lose contact.

Things that Awi going to miss :

1. Running around the corridor completely making a total full out of myself.
2. Skipping classes with friends just to play football.
3. Late night studies.
4. Last minute studies.
5. Shouting from one end of a corridor to another end, calling my friends.
6. Going randomly into other people's classes.
7. Examinations.
8. The adrenaline rush when we run from teachers.
9. Acting all lunatic just to make my friends smile.
10. Morning breakfast with the guys at MZ.
11. Late evening staybacks.
12. Sport's Day.
13. IU Day.
14. Performing live with bandmates.
15. Gathering in a group to listen to each other's problems.

That's a hefty amount of things I am going to miss about school life. I won't post any pictures here because i have said enough about what's been going up and down in my life. No worries, the next post will have a lot of images of you monkeys :)

Soon enough Dear,
This will all just go away.

Chemical Kids And Mechanical Brides.

Today's edition is on Izuan's open house which was on the same day as graduation day. I had to seperate the posts because there are gazillions of pictures. Anyway, after graduating, Faris, TK, Bryant, Shazrie, Thiban, Yudesh, Tarkessh, and i decided to go to Times Square to loosen up a bit. And we did that by playing arcade games at the 6th floor. After, the Last Minutes band went jamming but with the absence of Khong and Des. We actually impressed the owner of the studio and he said 'oh, good ah'. :)

The rest had already gone back to change clothes and what not before going to Izuan's open house but Faris and I stayed to study at the food court with some of the guys who didn't go back. By 4 p.m we opted to make a move so that we could reach Izuan's house on time.

I Had 6 Rounds Of FOOD!!

Yes, that's the amount of food i ate. But then again, who could resist those mouth-watering lambs, appetizing Kuey Teow, Mee kari, crunchy garlic breads, Nasi Ayam, Rojak, Cakes. Wooh!! I can eat all night. Izuan and his family sure know how to satisfy hungry people. At Izuan's, we played Winning Eleven and Chor Tai Ti to kill time. I was the last form 5's to go back and by that, it was already 11.15 p.m.

I sure had fun thanks to Izuan.

Oh, here's the result for the game

Awi (Chelsea) vs. Tarkessh (Barcelona)
1-0

Awi (Chelsea) vs. Faris (Manchester United)
1-0

Awi (Chelsea) vs. Marques (Inter Milan)
1-2

Awi (Chelsea) vs Tharrmaraj (Barcelona)
1-2

And now, my pictures will do the blogging.

My Little Mona Lisa Told A Lie.

No no, my blog title has nothing to do with this blog post. Today's edition is on "Awi Is Fucking Gonna Miss Form 5's Life". Yes yes, yesterday was the mega grand graduation day which was held at Park Royal Hotel from 7.30 a.m to 11.30 a.m. Tribute to the teachers who managed to put a smile on the students' faces for organizing this event. I don't believe I'm saying this but thank you. Such event left a major impact on the students who are going to finish school in like 20+ days because now, we realized that we are actually going to say bye-bye to school.

As the teachers would have claimed, this is to honour or somehow appreciate the form 5's for their ceaseless effort. I won't blab much here, check the images caught on camera.

She Puts The Ho In Homewrecker.

I talked to Desmond today about my dream plans after SPM. I sure have a lot 'em!

1. I want to take my driving license course. Everyone wants this -.-

2. I want to take vocal classes to meet up with my band's expectation. I want to learn how to truly sing and scream. Hey, who knows, we just might be the next screamo band in town.

3. I want to learn how to play guitar/keyboard. I know that these are the two main instruments people are into now.

4. Faris and I want to train our asses at Track Bulatan Kampung Pandan so that we could stay fit. And besides, i need to keep up with my Olahragawan title and I want to get ready for next season athletics event.

5. I want to work for 1-3 months to gain money. I have no idea what I'm going to do with the money :)

6. I want to maximize the number of performances with my band. We'll entertain at weddings, mini gigs, schools and maybe even corporate events.

7. I want to spend my time playing football/futsal with the rest of my gang. We'll hold matches against Cheras team, VI team, Aminuddin Baki team, etc.

8. I want to go on a field trip with friends to places. For a start, they want to go to PD straight after SPM.

9. I want to buy X-Box 360/PS 3 and play all day long. I can make eyebags with this :)

10. I sure want to know what's wrong with us.

11. I have a lot more but i just can't seem to remember what it is.

*Don't be fooled, not all can be fulfilled .

Consider This A Picture Perfect Sweet Sorrow.

Event : Mamma Mia Gathering
Organizer : Mithalina Mizura Mazlan and Mariah Hanna Mazlan
Date : 5th October 2008
Time : 2 to 8 p.m.

Yes, today, Mimi and Hanna organized a gathering for their friends which turned out to be one of the best raya celebrations. So, millions of thanks to them for preparing all necessities for us to crash in at their house. There were food everywhere, from the very basic yet appetizing nasi himpit to the scrumptious muffins. Mimi and Hanna, i must say and i think everyone agrees on this, we were delighted to be your guests.

1. I hung out with my close Friends most of the time. Aimi, Faris, Aishah, Mimi and a lot more were there, dosing off on the couches and sofas, relaxing because tomorrow comes school for all of us. Mimi brought a bunch of Dvds for us to choose from so that we could watch it. And we all decided Mamma Mia (it's like High School Musical).

This is a little video about what happened next.

All of us reconnected with each other, asking how raya went and what not. As always, i received
a whole lot of bullying from the 3 Devils. Not to mention, my gay act with Faris on the bed alongside Izuan who came later (threesome la kononnya).

2. Next, all of us made our way to the park to ignite some Fireworks which was brought by Aina. It was mercun naga this time around (memang banyak la orang berjoget). We had mini war between the boys who started throwing mercun to each other. I even got my new Baju Melayu burn for that. But it was a hell lot of fun to see the girls especially, danced and screamed insanely all because we threw the fireworks at them.

3. I thank You. You certainly made my day.

These are some memories caught on camera.

We'll Never Make Another Memory.

Hello world, I'm back from kampung! Raya has been a total sweetheart, I received a pocketful of duit raya (good news because I'm saving it for prom). And besides, I've got to meet with cousins, uncles, aunties, grandmas and grandpas, heck it was surely hectic and merry this time around. Like the previous years, we celebrated raya at Perak again and this year, 30 people of my family and relatives gathered around (big enough?).

Anyway, the day before raya, the main men in my family including me cooked all kinds of delicacies such as lemang, nasi himpit and rendang. The amount of food we prepared was as if we were going to organize a kenduri or something! The whole day was about cooking and my fiery battle with the fire :)

Santan Setan, :)

Believe it or not, I can start a fire.

My brother caught this mega huge fish. I think it's kerapu.

Nasi Himpit.

Enough about the day before raya, the 1st day of raya was.. Well, it was about eating what we cooked the day before. And, and seeking for forgiveness from older people. Salam restu la katakan tapi version family :)

For today, we made our way to Tok Ngah's house. By the way, he's the older brother of my Grandma and the only one who still lives (he's 81 years old!). Orang lama2 ni memang umur panjang semacam :)

Anyway, the 2nd day of raya was a bit more relaxed as we only went to Nek Long and Tok Wa's houses and that only for a short while.

And by the 3rd day of raya, I'm finally home, :)

I have gazillions of pictures of raya. I can't upload it because it's too many but one thing for sure, i had tonnes of fun with my trip to kampung for raya. Till then..

And I'm worn out of fighting,
